Lots of people ask how to "START" their hydro van. You don't actually "start" it. After building it, click on the van. This will take you to the store. Pick the seed you want to plant in it by clicking the appropriate BUY button. Then, you're taken back to your farm. Click the van again and it will ask you to confirm. Click the check mark. When the seed has grown, click again to harvest.
